In my youth, I spent summers at my Grandma's house in Central Illinois, the heart of corn-land. My Grandma's family owned a farm, which we'd go visit every now and again for educational purposes. A staple on the dining room table would be the family grown Illini SUPER sweet corn, which could be yanked off the stalk and eaten right there if it wasn't for pesticides. Regardless, to this day I miss this awesomely amazing corn and make due with locally grown corn that tries it's best to rock my taste buds worlds. The only down side to corn on the cob eating is the amount of corn that sticks between your teeth. This is the classic "fiddling with the corn stuck between your teeth" face.

Face #942 Manic Monday Video "Fantasia PD"
Here's a little funny video "Fantasia PD" from 4 years ago airing on MNN in June 2009 on I've Got Munchies. These crazy characters were created by the hilarious Mike Reardon. They were filmed right around the time I was learning how to use a green screen, but that cheesy quality fit with this over acted cop sketch with quotable lines. Every time I watch this sketch, I giggle endless at the silliness of it all and makes me want to see more Fantasia! On a face note, besides my mini cameo with dramatic faces, Mike Reardon makes the best faces in this video!
Happy Monday!

Face #941 "Happy Father's Day/ Happy Birthday Mom"
Today is both Father's Day and My Mom's birthday... so I'm doing double duty! As I have proclaimed many a time, my parents are overly awesome. I wouldn't trade them for the world. Here's a lovely pic of my Mom, Dad and me on my couch watching TV. Obviously, they didn't know I was taking this pic! I'm so sneaky! I love you guys! Hope your day was filled with love, laughter and relaxation!

Face #939 Flashback Friday "My Parents Rock!"
This coming weekend is both Father's Day and my Mom's 60th birthday! I can not express in words how amazing and awesome these wonderful people who I'm lucky enough to have as my parents are. So in preparation for the big weekend, this FLASHBACK is when I was in college and went to Easter on Long Island at my Grandma's house with my parents. It's weird, because I'm not posing, doing skinny arms or doing the model face, but rather am fairly genuine in my smile with my parents... I love you guys! Hope you have a marvelous weekend.

Face #938 "Someone To Look Up To"
While outside the other day, enjoying some live music, I watched tons of children play without a care in the world. The grassy knoll I parked my blanket on was surrounded by city kids who were serious about running around and wrecking havoc on the world around them. Having been buzzed by the delicious Sailor Jerry's rum and cola, I found the kids highly annoying, yet amusing at the same time. With that said, one overly friendly walking baby child started rummaging through my purse when I had my back turned. This is my reaction to this little boy who wanted to play with my iPhone.... first shock/anger then a smile since this tyke was not old enough to understand yet cute enough for me to not go off on his humiliated parent. Below is a little shot of me and my Lil bro, enjoy those Sailor Jerry drinks!! Booyah!

Face #937 "The Sailor Jerry Girl"
If you are an avid rum drinker, you may know of the deliciously spicy Sailor Jerry's Rum and their signature bottle with the sexified pinup looking lady inside the bottle. I love drinking Sailor Jerry with some good ole Coca Cola. The pairing makes for a delightful and caffeinated cocktail. Regardless, as a salute to Sailor Jerry on Sailor Jerry Day, I attempt the Sailor Jerry Girl Face! Cheers!
To bad the pin-up face couldn't look like this...
