For Christmas 2010, my brother gave me a Kinect for my Xbox. With that, he included a game called Dance Central. Normally I take issue with adults playing video games, however this game is the exception due to it's alternate agenda of getting me to work out with a body moving exercise. For my 30th birthday, that same brother gave me Dance Central 2, which has new songs and features. One of the exciting new attributes to this video game is the fitness section that plays a large chunk of songs back to back and counts the calories that you burn while dancing. This, of course, fits nicely with my typical New Year's resolution of acquiring a healthier lifestyle filled with movement and fruits/veggies. It's great burning calories in my own apartment dancing with no one watching me flailing about. While dancing, the Dance Central game takes pictures. I would love to show them to you, but don't want you to unsubscribe to this blog because of my horrid dance outfits. I have noticed that with 90% of the pictures taken by the Kinect, I make the following faces while dancing:
