After a lovely weekend in Phoenix to attend my besties baby shower, I am now home with the flu (I hope) which I caught on the flight out there from the dirty handed Nascar jacket wearing dude next to me who was coughing and looking really flushed. I didn't think much of this behavior, as it is winter, there are allergies and I tried my best to avoid any and all contact with him. With that said, I have spent today in bed with a fever of 101, chills, body aches, sore throat, ear pain, headache, and the works. Its difficult to do anything when you feel like such garbage and when you live by yourself. As I awoke today, my throat as sore as bad young child's butt cheeks, I opened my mouth with the feeling of "It feels like someone shit in my mouth". It just felt disgusting. Here's my face for that sentiment.
